With three Dragon Ball Z movies coming to theaters soon, Adidas is bringing fans a DBZ-themed sneaker collection. The movies will start screening in September, and that’s when the first Adidas DBZ sneakers release. This Adidas Dragon Ball Z capsule is a hit for sneakerheads and fans of the Dragon Ball Z adventures. That’s two birds with one stone!
This September, the Adidas Dragon Ball Z collection will supply us with two exciting sneakers. Goku’s remastered ZX500 and Frieza’s Yung 1, which is an updated Falcon Dorf. Adidas carefully takes into consideration the characters main colors, shape, as well as the overall vibe in order to decide which silhouettes match which characters.
For the villain’s shoe, the Yung-1 looks slightly menacing with its cold colors and sleek design. There is no better time for this silhouette to release since the dad-shoe trend is still highly regarded. On the other hand, Goku’s ZX 500 RM takes on a more friendly attire which includes many details relating to the hero.
With three of the most iconic battles re-imagined in sneaker form, the collaboration features seven silhouettes from the adidas Originals roster, carefully chosen to represent the characteristics of the heroes and villains to which they refer. Stay tuned for the first release later this month. — See other Originals drops at adidas.com/Originals
Since Adidas Originals just recently confirmed its Dragon Ball Z collection, here’s what we should be expecting. The drops will take place in form of a battle, hero versus villain.
This capsule will be a difficult one to cop due to its limited stock level. Each character’s sneaker comes in Adidas Originals Dragon Ball Z themed packaging. Sneaker leakers say that miniature models of the characters will also be included in the release. Stay tuned for more information as the releases unfold.
